2. Supplier shall inspect the unit after installation. Any deficiency with the installation s^all be brought to the attention of the contractor for repair or alteration. The unit shall be started up and run to determine that all systems are functional.

F. Operation and Maintenance Manuals

1. The bidder shall furnish six copies of operating and maintenance instructions and illustrated parts books covering the generator power and control switchgear and auxiliary equipment which will require operating instructions and periodic maintenance.

G. Commissioning

1. Furnish the services of a competent, factory-trained engineer or technician to be available at the job site for period of two days for initial start-up and for instruction personnel in operation and maintenance of the equipment, on the dates requested by the Owner.

H. Provide short circuit and coordination study for emergency power system from generators downtoATS's.

2.09 AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCHES

A. Automatic transfer switches shall, for the indicated amperage and voluge, conform to the performance requirements specified below. The switches shall be for operating charac­ teristics as indicated and shall be complete with all integrally mounted and wired up components as required to automatically transfer a load back and forth between a normal and an emergency source under the conditions specified below.

B. Submit manufacturers certification attesting to the fact that, at the specified voltage, the main contacts of each transfer switch;-

1. Are capable of carrying the specified amperes continuously without damage when mounted in the specified enclosure and with such enclosure located in a space having an ambient temperature of 110°F.

2. Are for at least 50 operations and without damage of any sort, including pitting, able to interrupt a low power factor (40% or less) current equal to 6 times the continuous requirement.

3. Are, without damage of any sort, able to handle a closing current surge equal to 10 times the continuous requirement.
