Inspection Details:

As part of the survey, the Mechanical and the Environmental Professionals inspected the following HVAC system types. All identification data and visual inspections are documented in the attached checklists.

A. One (01) laundry exhaust fan located on the main roof, one (01) mechanical exhaust fan in the elevator room, one (01) mechanical exhaust fan in the pump water room, one (01) kitchen and one (01) bathroom exhaust fan, located in the pump water room, on the main roof. Five (05) mechanical kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans located on the 9th floor roof. B. One (01) AC unit located in the elevator room and serves the elevator room. C. One (01) AC unit located on the main roof, and serves the hallways. D. One (01) AC unit located in the ceiling of the lobby area and serves the lobby. E. One (01) AC unit located in the west side of the lobby, and serves west side of the lobby. F. One (01) AC unit located in the east lobby and serves the east side of the lobby. G. One (01) AC unit located in the compactor room and serves the compactor room. H. MV-I unit located in the basement and serves the basement storage rooms and boiler room. I. HV-2 unit located in the basement and serves the basement corridors.

Summary of Findings:

WTC related dust was found in pit areas of the fresh air intakes of HV-1 and HV-2 systems. WTC related dust was found in the mechanical exhaust fan# (04) which is located on the 9th floor.

Scope of Work:

Cleaning is required to remove WTC related dust from inside the pit areas of the HV-1 and HV-2 systems. Cleaning is required to remove WTC related dust from the mechanical exhaust fan # (04) and its components and associated ducts.
