Dear Mr. Wilson:

Athenica Environmental Services, Inc., and Duct Dusters performed Building HVAC & Environmental inspections on January 15, 2003.

Qualifications:

Duct Dusters (DD) is a NADCA certified corporation. Mr. Tony Gallo of DD performed the inspections of the HVAC and exhaust systems in conjunction New York State certified Asbestos Inspector Mr. Alex Kazakov of Athenica Environmental Services. Inc (AES) and Mr. Matthew Schoen of USEPA.

Background:

2 South End Avenue is a 09-story building with 162 residential units. The manager of the building is Mr. Dan Wurtzul from Cooper Square Management Corp. at 212 —682-7373. The superintendent of the building is Bob Mauceri at 212 786-4461 or at 212-7864557.

Post 9111 Maintenance History:

No post 9/11 maintenance activity reports were available at the time of our inspection. Athenica contacted Cooper Square Management Corp. on January 13 and January 21, 2003 to request these maintenance records. We received no response.
