Dear Mr. Wilson:
Athenica Environmental Services, Inc. and Duct Dusters performed Building HVAC & Environmental inspections on January 9 and January 23, 2003.
Oualifications:
Duct Dusters (DD) is a NADCA certified corporation. Mr. Tony Gallo and Mr. Matt Provenzano of DD performed the inspections of the HVAC and exhaust systems in conjunction with New York State certified Asbestos Inspector Mr. Vasilis Bellos and Mr. Alex Kazakov of Athenica. Environmental Services, Inc (AES) and Matthew Schoen of USEPA.
Background:
300 Rector Place is a nine story building with 108 residential units managed by AKAM (212) 986-0001. The manager of the building is Mr. Don Moskovic at 212 —986-0001 ext 155. Mr. Ray Perez at 212-945-3524 is the superintendent of the building. He accompanied us during our inspection.
Post 9/11 Maintenance History:
Post 9/11 maintenance activity reports were available at the time of our inspection, on January 23, 2003. The superintend of the building Mr. Ray Perez at 212-945-3524 provided us with a copy of the report. According to Mr. Perez on Octoberl0, 2001 Donnelly Mechanical cleaned the HVAC systems. On October 29, 2001 Sam-Chute Environmental Services, Inc., cleaned the fans on the roof and associated ducts.
