T. Equipment Warranty » 1. Equipment furnished under these Specifications shall be guaranteed against defective parts and workmanship under terms of the manufacturer's and dealer's standard w^ranty. But, in no event, shall it be for a period of less than two years from date of initial start-up of the system and the job site and shall include later and travel time for necessary repairs at the job site.

Running hours shall not be a limiting factor for the system warranty. During the guarantee period, the manufacturer shall respond to the emergency within less than two hours. Two hour response shall be provided for two years around the clock.

2.07 LOAD BANK SYSTEM

A. Provide on each generator a downstream radiator mounted indoor type air-cooled, resistive load bank. The load bank is to be used for periodic, scheduled, supervised maintenance exercise and testing of the standby/emergency power source and UPS equipment. Each load bank shall be operated by remote manual control.

B. The system shall include a control panel that will control and monitor each bank remotely and shall include a distribution board as shown on the drawings.

C. Load Bank Ratings shall be as follows:-

1. Load Capacity: Indicated KW rating of generator at 1.0 power factor.

2. Load steps shall be in 50 KW increments.

3. Voltage: 480/277V AC, 3 phase, 4 wire.

4. Frequency: 60 Hertz.

5. Duty cycle: Continuous.

D. Each load bank shall be include all resistive load elements, load control devices, load element branch circuit fiise protection, main load bus and terminals, cooling system, unit controller and malfunction detection system and NEMA type I enclosure.

E. Load elements: Open, helically wound, chromium alloy electrical resistance wire derated to operate at 60% of the maximum continuous temperature rating of wire. Element wire to be mechanically supported over entire length in such a way that should a wire break, the broken wire segments will not short to adjacent conductors or to ground.
