UPS Systems
UPS systems are 3 or 4 750kVA/600kW multi-modules systems rated at 1800 and 2400 kW non-redundant. Two systems can be configured lor full capacity 2N
redundancy. Each system contains 3 or 4750 kVA/600 kW UPS modules, system bypass switchboard, static switch, transfer controls, maintenance bypass, load bank
circuit breaker, system output distribution switchboards, system battery with disconnect and system battery monitoring, Manufiictuter: Powerwate Corpotadon.
2000 kW Generator Sets
Generators are Caterpillar packaged electric generator set, Caterpillar model 3516B standby rated 2000 kW 2500 kVA, 15 kV 3 phase, 4 wire, 1800 rpm, 60 Hz at
0.8 power factor. Features and accessories for each unit include lo BSFC engine, Kato generator, load share module, NFPAI10 alarm module, customer communica
tion module, customer interface module, 15 kV vacuum circuit breaker, Silex isolator. Battery Charger, nicad batteries and Duplex Filters, Generator set is housed in
a sound attenuated exterior enclosure, sound attenuated to a level of 70dba@ 15 meters. Enclosure contains a 500 gallon base fuel tank with lead/lagpump system.
Generator Paralleling Switchgear
Generator Paralleling Switchgear is deseed to parallel and distribute six or seven 2000 kW 15 kV generator sets. Two are available for six generator paralleling, configured
at 12,47 kV and one is available for seven generator paralleling, configured at 13,8 kV Each system also contains eight 1200 amp Same, vacuum citcuit breakers for distrib
ution to loads. The equipment is housed in two line-ups, one control and one distribution. Control is (PLC) based with Redundant PLC, Manufacturer Russelecttic, Inc,
GE/Russelectrie Automatic Transfer Switch
The GE/Russelectric Automatic Transfer Switch is a two section, 15 kV, 100 millisecond closed transition switchgear. This ATS utilizes two 15 kV, 1,200 ampere
vacuum circuit breakers in 1,200 ampere metal clad switchgear, 3 phase. The two vacuum circuit breakers ate vertically mounted in a single vertical section. The
second section contains the ATS control circuitry and the potential transformers. The control system is a microprocessor based transfer control system.
5,000 Ampere Substation
A 5,000 ampere substation, secondary unit substation, across the aisle double ended with 3750 kVA transformers, 12.47 KV or 13.8 kV ptimaty, 480V secondary and
automatic main-tie-main switching, switchboard construction with copper bus, 3 phase 3 wire. The line-up pet side consists of 1200 ampere 15 kV Load Interrupter

(600 kW per module), 2,400 kW with static bypass, maintenance bypass and output bypass configured for 2N distribution. Manufacturer: General Electric.

600 Ton Cooling Towers
Cooling towers ate Model NCB2A1 induced draft crossflow cooling tower manufactured by The Marley Cooling Tower Company, The towers are rated to cool
1,800 GPM from 93,14’F HW to 83,14“F CW at 77°F wet bulb temperature. The towers are constructed of heavy gauge galvanized steel, the cold water collec
tion basin and distribution basins are constructed of heavy gauge bolted 304 stamless steel with a 14 inch bottom outlet connection. The 144 inch Marley fen
assembly is driven through a right angle 5-year maintenance free gear reducer. The fen is driven by a 25 HP, 3 phase, 460 volt, high efficiency motor. A basin heater
package with controls is also provided with each cooling tower.
Plate and Frame Heat Exchanger
One plate and frame heat exchanger is available. Heat Exchanger is Accu-Thetm Model AT 80. Cold side (condenser water) specifications are 43°F entering water tempera
ture, 51"F leaving water tempetatute, 1,972 GPM. Hot side (chilled water) specificarions ate 55”F entering water temperature, 45“F leaving water temperature, 1,530 GPM.

Computer room air-conditioning unit (CRAC) manufectuted by the Airflow Company. The unit is model number CCT-40C designed for a chilled water system. Downflow
unit and the total cooling capacity is 353.2 MBH (30 tons nominal). Capacity ratings are based upon 45’F entering water temperature, 55.1’F leaving water temperature
