RE: M02A-02-081 Improvements to
Emergency Exits- Park Avenue
Railroad Tunnel at 59th Street,
Borough of Manhattan
Dear Mr. Flores:
We have reviewed your plan submission of August 28, 1984 prepared by Leroy Callander,
P.C.,
Since all structral loads are being framed into existing walls which lie outside
the vertical planes of each sewer, we have no objection to the proposed work.
An interior inspection of both sewers has been made to indentify possible structural
defects. Both sewers appear to be in fair structural condition at this time.
The contractor shall be advised to exercise extreme caution when working immediately
above the existing sewers.
We are returning one set of plans stamped "Approved". It is requested that you
notify Mr. Frank Saia, P.E., Chief, Division of Sewer Maintenance at completion
of construction so a final sewer inspection can be made.
^Very truly your§.

Control, Bureau of Sewers
