The scope ofthe work shall be:
1. The existing triple decontamination chamber will remain in place for the .cleaning of the fumiture. supplies, and other articles. Tb.csc porous materials should be HEPA vacuumed and wet-wiped twice., in existing rooms. Non- porous mate:dals, like the furliiture will be wei-wiped twice in front of the inlet to an air filtration device.
2. lJncontaminated air will be supplied to the decontamination chambers to main1ain a mass air balance in each room. Air monitoring will be performed imide and outside the decontamination chamber during the cJeaning process as well outside the office in the hall.
3. Workers involved with the cleaning process will be protected from asbestos · exposure by using air purifying respirators and appropriate personal protective clothing.
