• Attached for your review is a copy of a memo I received today from Marc Ganz of the NYS Dormitory Authority. Marc has been in contact with the School Construction Authority and NYC DEP regarding payment due for water and sewer charges owed by Creedmoor State Psychiatric Hospital.

You will note, the negotiated $1.35 million was agreed to to resolve all outstanding liens for the Psychiatric Hospital. Marc received a memo from Besty Collins of DEP indicating the $1.35 million will now only be used for the liens against the parcels that will be transferred from the state to the NYC Board of Education for the purpose of constructing the 3 school campus.

As I am sure you are aware this project has experienced several delays and I would appreciate your looking into the matter to see that the original amount of $1.35 million be made as PAYMENT IN FULL for the hospital so that the land conveyance may take place quickly. Please let me hear from you at your earliest convenience.
