Part III — Health & Safety Plan 133-135 Greenwich Street/21-23 Thames Street Airtek Project 05-0701— Rev 1, August 11, 2005 A licensed abatement contractor must perform the removal of all friable and non-friable ACM. Airtek believes that the implementation of these recommendations will serve to best protect human health and the environment. To assure that the removal of the aforementioned ACM is properly and effectively carried out, the following recommendations are proposed by Airtek: D. Develop and implement a schedule that outlines the time frame for removal of ACM. E. Develop complete and concise specifications to effectively deal with removal of the ACM. These specifications should be developed to comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations. F. Retain the service of an independent testing laboratory to monitor the air for possible asbestos contamination before, during and after the removal work. Retain all documentation and correspondence from the removal contractor, the testing laboratory and related items in a permanent record.
