AMBIENT AIR AND BULK SAMPLING REPORT

On November 5 througth 8, 2001 Applied Technology Services, Inc. (ATS) provided air and bulk sampling services at 80 to 84 West Broadway and 68 to 74 Warren St, New York, New York. ATS's services were requested by Mark Jaffe on behalf of the owner, due to his concerns regarding tenants health and safety.

Sampling was performed by Jose Jimenez and Steve VanderWoude, certified NYS-DOL Inspectors.

Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analysis was requested to specifically rule out asbestos related hazards. Results of the samples analyzed via TEM indicate that all airborne asbestos fibers levels were below the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Re-occupancy Level of 70 structures per square millimeter and therefore all

areas tested may be re-occupied without the use of respiratory protection against airborne fibers at this time.

Bulk samples were taken of the dust which was present throughout all areas. Results analyzed via TEM indicate Chrysotile asbestos was present in various samples although not in percentages high enough (greater than 1 %) to be classified as Asbestos Containing Material (ACM).
