Mgr/TRC Environmental 10:45 pm to 11:45 pm

I arrived at the premise at 10:45 pm and met with Rocco - LVI Supervisor, who informed me that that electrical panel was repaired and power was back to normal. LVI schedule informed that activities include: clear floor, scrape fireproofing, demo, load out on V'floor.

I proceeded to the decon, signed the log book, don the appropriate level of personal protective equipment to enter the regulated area on r'floor. Three workers were present for the decon maintenance, cleaning shower chambers and organizing the clean room. Negative air pressure on the floor was -0.042.

V' Floor - 53 Asbestos Handlers were present inside the work area. Workers were found on scaffolds at the north side of the area #5 cutting air ducts from the ceiling, metal panels from the column, spraying debris and placing into the boxes. At the north and south/east sides of the area #5 workers were on scaffolds and scissor lifts scraping fireproofing, spraying with amended water, cleaning the floor, picking up debris, placing into the boxes. At the north/west side vestibule workers were on scaffolds scraping horizontal and vertical beams, spraying the area with amended water. Others were cleaning the floor from debris, preparing and loading out boxes through the waste decon. 20 Gaylord boxes were on the floor ready for load out. Inspection was done on micro trap machines and tents. Electrical panel was repaired, all 40 micro trap machines were powered on and 5 stand by.

At the east side of the work area I observed: 1. Two spots of excess water on the floor; 2. Air monitoring pump inside the Tent #1 was not powered on. I took photos, then Handler Supervisor Victor was advised to pick up excess water, and conduct emergency repair of pump. He directed workers, and defects were repaired immediately.

After following the decontamination procedure I exited the work area. I met with Rocco - LVI Supervisor at the LVI office to discuss the findings of the inspection.

Inspection was done on ATC trailer.
