8. Load bank shall include control circuitry with airflow switch to shut down load bank with no air flow and interlock with generator control switchgear to shut down load bank when generator is in cool down cycle.
9. The load bank shall be a product of a firm regularly engaged in the design and manufacture of generator load banks.
10. The load bank manufacturer shall demonstrate at least five years experience with at least twenty-five successful installations of load banks similar or equal to the load bank specified herein.
11. The load bank for this application shall be by Simplex, Inc. 1139 N. MacArthur Blvd., Springfield, Illinois 62702, 800-637-8603 or other approved.
K. Load bank remote control panel enclosure shall be NEMA type I wall mounting, with hinge-open front.
L. Terminal blocks shall be provided for connection.
M. The remote panel shall duplicate all control and monitoring functions of the local system controllers as specified hereinbefore.
N. Factory Test
1. The load bank system shall be tested mounted on the generator at the factory to demonstrate compliance with Specifications. Tests shall be wimessed by the Owner and/or his representative. A certified copy of the performance test shall be submitted before shipment to the job she. Any defects which become evident during the test shall be corrected before continuing.
