O. Site Tests
1, Manufacturer shall provide the services of factory trained engineer and the
technicians to conduct and supervise site tests.
2. Supplier shall inspect the unit after installation. Any deficiency with the
installation shall be brought to the attention of the contractor for repair or
alteration. The unit shall be started up and run to determine that all systems are
functional.
P. Operation and Maintenance Manuals
1. ■Rie bidder shall ftirnish six copies of operating and maintenance instructions and
illustrated parts books covering the load bank and auxiliary equipment which will
require operating instructions and periodic maintenance.
Q. Commissioning
1. Furnish the services of a competent, factory-trained engineer or technician to be
available at the job site for period of one day for initial start-up and for instruction
personnel in operation and maintenance of the equipment, on the dates requested
by the Owner.
R. Equipment Warranty
1. Equipment furnished under these Specifications shall be guaranteed against
defective parts and workmanship under terms of the manufacturer's and dealer’s
standard warranty. But, in no event, shall it be for a period of less than two years
from date of initial start-up of the system and the job site and shall include labor
and travel time for necessary repairs at the job site. Running hours shall not be a
limiting factor for the system warranty. During the guarantee period, the
manufacturer shall respond to the emergency within less than two hours. Two
hour response shall be provided for two years around the clock.
S. Alternates
1. Manufacturer shall submit value engineering alternates with cost reduction.
