A pressure washer station was set up by Miller Environmental at the northeast corner of the work zone to accommodate truck traffic unable to access the other wash stations due to road construction.

As of March 7th, Battery Park City extended the time period for the use of this property. The Salvation Army will vacate the big tent by 4/30/02 (confirmed by the Salvation Army) and EPA can initiate breakdown of the tent and infrastructure on 5/1/02. NYCOEM indicated to ORC on March 15% that the above dates are final.

Negotiations continue between Miller Environmental and Grace Trucking for the recovery of costs associated with the damage to the automated truck wash caused by Grace.

The NYCDOH requested EPA place a boot wash station at West Side Highway and Vessey Street This has been held up by construction activities on that portion of Vessey Street.
