,4) Complete structural details of manholes No. 1 & 2 should also be shown on submitted plans since they are non-standard. In this regard, there is an apparent interference condition shown at section F-F on drawing WTC-C4-81, between a 3” electrical duct, A 12-3" tel. duct bank, and the proposed manhole No. 1. No utilities shall be permitted to interfere with any sewer structure. 5) No existing sewer house connection shall be compromised as a result of any sewer abandonment in this project. Although no house connections are indicated on the plans, if any such connections are found in the course of construction, they must be continuously maintained and if disturbed, be re-connected before completion of the work. 6) The plans do not clearly differentiate, on every sheet, between existing structures to be maintained, abandoned, or rerouted. This should be corrected on revised plans. 7) There are two proposed steam drains shown to be connected to new manhole No. 3, one of which apparently does not pass through a cooling chamber. No steam may be permitted to enter a sewer without first being codied to a temperature not greater than 150 Deg. F. Please submit three (3) complete sets of plans revised in accordance with the comments stated aboved and marked in red on the enclosed plans, for further review.
