It is required that extreme care shall be taken that the soil over which the manholes or the sewer pipe rest, will not be disturbed during con struction work at that location. ) following general regarding proposed drainage work should appear on the contract plans- I) All backfilling underneath or above the proposed sewers shall be done in conformance v;ith D.E.P. standards as stipulated in section 4.06 of D.E.P. specifications and its amendments. IT) The D.I. pipe class 55 on a class 35 concrete cradle should have internally locked"Push-On" joints. A marked-up copy of your submitted plans is enclosed herewith to illustrate the above comments. Please submit three (3) full sets of corrected plans, revised in accordance with these comments and those marked in red on the plans, for further review.
