The installation of an inverted siphon in East 67th St., for the purpose of lowering the existing IS" 0 combined sewer is unacceptable to this Bureau.
Inverted siphons in general and especially on small diameter sanitary or combined sewers, create hydraulic maintenance and odor problems. The use of an inverted siphon is not a viable solution to your interference problems.
