We have received a proposal from Leroy Callender, P.C., on behalf of Metro North which calls for the rehab, and modernization of the emergency R.R. Tunnel Exits in Park. Avenue at 59th Street.
The proposal calls for framing the structure loads down to footings at elevations close to the top of the two existing Park Avenue sewers (7’-3" circular-eastside, 4’-0" X 2’-8"-Westside).
It will be necessary to examine the interior of each sewer before and after construction operations. We are interested specifically in those locations under the existing column footings. These have been stationed off on the attached drawings. Please take photographs at these locations to acertain if the existing condition has affected the sewer.
