Dear Mr. Shaw:

This is in reply to your submittal of contract plans with a letter dated June 3, 1988 regarding the above referenced^prgj^t. Please be advised of the following comments of this department:

1. On sheet No. D-1, drop pipe manhole details for proposed manhole No. 13 do not conform with NYCDEP Sewer Design Standards. A copy of sewer design standards is enclosed for your reference.

2. On sheet No. D-6, details for proposed manhole No. 14 do not conform with NYCDEP Sewer Design Standards. Use new 27” diameter NYCDEP standard manhole cover and frame in lieu of existing 24" diameter manhole cover and frame. Use a 4'-0” X 4'-0" chimney instead of a 5'-0" X 4*-0" chimney for this manhole.

3. j4s per the comment. No. 3 of our letter doted /torch 21, 1988 and comment No. 2 above submit structural calculations for proposed manhole No. 14 and for a structural cap on an existing manhole shown on sheet No. D-6.

For our approval please siibniit three (3) complete sets of contrecl. rioamients revised in conformance with the above comments, and comments iniU: re the roclosed plans.
