9. TEMPORARY FENCE
a. A temporary chain link fence will be provided by others to

enclose the site.

10. FEES
a. All Departments, Divisions, and Agencies of the City of New York
have agreed to waive their customary permit and processing fees
for this Project.
J 11. DELIVERIES
a. Schedule and coordinate deliveries to the Site with the Construction

Manager.
12. ITEMS PERTAINING TO PLUMBING WORK
a. Final connections to the cooling towers make-up water are to be 8
by others. However, this subcontractor is to furnish a valved
outlet within ten (10) feet of this final connection, and to
include all water necessary for the cooling tower make-up and I
f
the expansion tank. Make-up to be a maximum distance of cen
(10)feet from where it is required. Any frostproofing that
may be required on these lines is to be by others.

b. Valve tags, where called for, shall be coordinated with other
trades so that the shape tag used by this subcontractor will be
different from those used by others.
c. This Contractor shall submit a signed-off "PSD" certificate,
as well as a record set of as-built drawings on Mylar, together
with operating manuals and valve charts, at the close of the
job.
d. All tests that are required by Code, and by good practice, will
be performed as part of this contract, including, if required,
a "Peppermint" vent test.
e- This Contractor is to assume complete responsibility for
elimination of noise and vibrations in this plumbing installation;
where vibration eliminators are required to reduce noise levels,
this Contractor is to install same at no extra cost.
