Equipment

Mobile Vacuum Units: Each vacuiun unit will consist of a collector body, pulse-jet filter, vacuum piunp w/electric motor, safety valve, safety filter / differential pressure switch (to provide suction capacity based on requirement), silencer, discharge system, level switch for automatic stop of suction, unit control, compressed-air compressor, and silencing cabinet mounted on a flatbed trailer. Material will be collected into the collector body through 3 suction lines, 5 inches in diameter and 900 feet long. The pulse-jet filter prevents any dust fi-om escaping the collector. The level switch will automatically shut the vacuum off once the collector is full. Then the discharge system will empty the collector into the necessary containers for disposal.

Through the closed piping system of the mobile vacuum, the dust is removed entirely from the work area, to the central plant where the dust is separated from the air through a pulse-jet filter. By means of the high vacuum it is possible to operate several hundred feet of pipe in one system and to collect and convey heavy material, such as cement, steel, sand, grain, fertilizer, iron cuttings, etc. The cleaning of the conveying air satisfies the highest emission requirements, and the collected product is discharged into a container to be emptied regularly.

ADM Units: Each ADM unit will consist of an inlet cone, flow stabilizers. Modules, dust discharge assembly, material collection hopper and installed in existing ductwork in the buildings. The dust laden air will enter the inlet cone, continue through the flow stabilizers to the ADMs, where the dust will be separated from the air and collected in a hopper for disposal. The cleaned air will then be re circulated throughout the building.

The patented aerodynamic module (ADM) consists of a tubular casing enclosing an aerodynamically designed conical ring and dust discharge assembly. Gas containing particulate enters the wide opening of the conical shaped ring assembly and flows parallel to the axis of the cone. Because of the forced or draft induced flow the pressure inside is higher than pressure outside the cone, causing the “cleaned’ gases to flow between the rings toward the outer housing. The “cleaned” gas continues through the housing to be returned; to the process, to the atmosphere or if required to a final air pollution control device.
