The following was reported by DCAS Deputy Commissioner Joe Wagner: Any other questions regarding DCAS\Cily Owned building can be directed to DC Wagner’s office (212) 380-2670
• Work os described in the rc-occupuncy checklist has been completed.
• Asbestos bulk and Air Samples have all produced satisfactory results.
• Duct work has been completed however Window Air Conditioning Units have not been completed. Notices have been posted instructing staff not to use window AC’s.
• October 1, is the ani iclpaled dale of completion for work.
• All Buildings have been checked twice (by both pi 1 vale & City) for structural stability and all have been certified as safe.
• 280 Broadway. Roof which was in the process of being replaced prior to WTC collapse was found to be stabile with no debris.
• Ground Zero Buildings still affected by odors include 253 Broadway and the Municipal Building.
• Some phone service is still interrupted, elevator service in buildings is operable.
