BX££1ZZXX£ CSDBB SUSPENSION OF R&GVhATZONS SSGASDZNQ TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING OF CERTAIN SOLID KASTB RESULTING FROM THS WORLD TRADE CENTER DISASTER WHEREAS, on September 11, 2001, I issued Executive Order Number 113 declaring a disaster emergency in the State of New fork; NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE B. PATAKI, Governor of the State of Hew York, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Laws of the State of New York, do hereby continue Executive Order No. 113, dated September 11. 2001, except that such Executive Order is amended to read as followsj FURTHER, pursuant to the authority vested In ne by Section 29-a of Article 2-B of the Executive Low to temporarily suspend specific provisions of any statute, local law, ordinance, orders, rules or regulations, or parte thereof, of any agency during a state disaster emergency, if compliance with such provisions would prevent, hinder or delay action necessary to cope with the disaster, X hereby ten^rarily suspend, for the period from the date of this Executive Order until further notice, the following regulations! 6 NYCRR part 354 to the extent that this part requires persons working under the supervision of government officials of the State and/or City of Hew York in connection with the disaster emergency to obtain permits for the collection, transportation and delivery of regulated waste to the staging areas or disposal locations owned er operated by the City of New York; 6 NYCRR parts 3T0 through 374 and part 375 to the extent that these parts require persons working under the supervision of government officials of the State and/or City of Hew York in connection with the disaster emergency to comply with hazardous waste management standards at the disaster site, during ths transportation of such waste from the disaster site to staging areas or disposal locations owned or operated by the City of New York, and in connection with the^^^orage of such waste at these staging areas or disposal locationhx. ,,
