WHER13AS, on September 11, 200 L, I issued Executive Crdsr Nu-rber 113 declaring a disaster eraergency in the State of New York;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE E. ?AT?xKI,’ Governor of the State of New York, by virtue of ths aut icrity vested in me by the Constitution and Laws of the .State of N sw York, do hereby continue Executive Order No. 113. dared September il, 2001, except that ouch Executive Order is amended to read as follows: FURTHER, pursuant to the authority vested in Tne by’ Section 25-a of Article 2-E the ExecJtive Law to temporarily suspend specific provisions of any statite, local law, ordinance. orders, rules or regulations, or parts thereof, of any agency during a State disaster emergency, if compliance with such provioiexJS would prevent, hinder or delay action necessary to cope with the disaster, I hereby temporarily suspend, for the period from the date of this Executive Order until further- notice, the following regulations;

6 NYCRR part 364 to the extent that this part requires persons working under the supervision of goyernment officials of the State and/cr City of Hew York in connection with Che disaster emergency to obtain permits for the collection, transport?*cion and delivery of regulated waste to the staging areas or disposal locations owned or operated by the City of New York; 6 NYCRR parts 370 through 374 and part 376 to the extent that these parts require persons working under the super'-.'ision of government officials of the State and/or City of New York in connection with the disaster emergency to ootTply with hazardous waste managemsrit standards at the disaster site, during the transportation of such waste from the disaster site to staging areas or disposal locations owned or operated by the City of Neu- York, and in connection with the storage of such waste at these st 'ging areas or disposal locations.
