• Initial Response and Assessment
• Coordination with OEM, EPA and DOS for Clean-up activities of
Streets, Sidewalks & Common Areas

• Participated in daily meetings with EPA, NYS DOH, NYSDEC and other City agencies
with respect to the clean-up activities and results of air samplings in and around ground
zero.

• Telephone assistance to building owners, tenants, contractors, and consultants
12 hours/ day for 2 months.
• Press release to contact DEP 24-hour HELP Center with re-occupancy concerns.

Ongoing at Ground Zero from September 11, 2001
Five locations outside of WTC Vicinity from 9/11 to 10/1/2001. (Outer Boroughs)
In front of four schools in the WTC Vicinity
• Review of sampling data submitted by building owners & ongoing
• Review of scopes of work for clean-up of ACM and processing of emergency
notifications. Inspections and follow-up inspections were performed at all these sites.
• Developed emergency certification procedures and offered daily certification
examinations to ensure a properly trained and qualified work force was available to
perform necessary clean-up activities.
