Hoffer ieneral Counsel Dear Mr. Covey: ureau of Legal flairs Pursuant to section 5-1.23(a) of Title 10 of the New York Codes, 31 (718) 595-6555 ax(718)595-6543 Rules and Regulations, the New York City Department of Environmental ww.tl.nyc.ny.ustdep Protection (DEP) requests the approval of the New York State Department of Health (DOH) for the temporary alteration of its treatment process of the Catskill Water Supply. For the reasons detailed in the attached letter to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), DEP requests DOH's immediate consideration of this proposal.
