Section 1-41®: During abatement air sampling inside work area. Section 1-41(d): No post abatement clearance air monitoring. Section 1-81(m): Partial plasticization of the work area. Section 1-$2(a) & 1-83(a): Remote decontamination facilities. Section 1-91: No negative air.

Work Procedures a. The remote worker/waste decontamination enclosure system, constructed in accordance, with Attachment R, shall be erected at ground level; loading area. This unit shall be maintained in the work place for the duration of the abatement. b. Protection below the work area is required with plastic sheeting. Where space permits, the plastic sheeting shall cover the ground as per attachment EC. c. The scaffolding system around building will be erected, maintained, and operated in accordance with the applicable federal, state, city rules and regulations by General Contractor. d. All movable items from the ground beneath the work area will be relocate before asbestos abatement work start. e. Restrict access to the ground beneath the work area shall be by erecting 'temporary fencing or asbestos warning barrier tape at a 25-foot perimeter from the building. Only authorized personnel performing the work shall entry the work areas. f. Each abatement team shall be equipped with appropriate tools, rags, a portable supply of amended water, and a HEPA vacuum. After the ACM is adequately wetted, it shall be stripped using band tools, with the ACM being directly bagged or dropped into a poly and promptly bagged. Upon completion of removal, each surface shall be HEPA vacuumed, and then wet- wiped to remove any loose visible debris and coated with a transparent encapsulant. g. Upon completion of the stripping at a location and before moving to the next, the surfaces of the immediate work area shall be rendered free of visible debris. Next, the plastic covering of the platform shall be carefully cleaned and secured, at the next work area. h. Prior to the completion of each shift, the single disposable bag will be brought over to the remote decontamination unit (wash room), where the bags shall be wetted down and placed into an additional 6 rail disposable bag. The second disposable will be secured with water resistant duct tape, labeled and brought down to the waste container by means of a hoist, the put into the waste container for storage until the completion of work.' i. Upon completion of each work area and visual clearance, all critical barriers will be removed and disposed of as ACM and shall follow the same bag out sequence as mentioned above.
