Dear Mr. Zuckerman:

This letter confirms the findings of Ambient Group, Inc., after testing the above location on September 14, 20, 26 and October 4, 2001. . The surveys included sampling for levels of background gaseous parameters, metal analysis, airborne dust characterization and air sample collection for transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis, as well as absence/presence of asbestos in settled dust. Please note that sampling for both TEM analysis and airborne dust characterization took place on more than one of the survey days.

Ambient Group, Inc, certifies the following regarding One North End Avenue: a) all measured metals are within their respective OSHA Permissible Exposure Limits b) no asbestos was detected in air samples c) airborne asbestos levels at the time of testing using TEM were well below the EPA standard of 70 structures/mm2 and other recommended industry guidelines and/or regulations d) all indoor fungal spore concentrations were below the outside air levels e) all indoor gaseous air quality parameter readings (including carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and total volatile organic compounds) were below OS1.1A, ACG11:1, ASHRAE and other recommended industry guidelines and/or regulations

From our sample results collected inside and outside of the building, we have identified nothing which would restrict normal occupancy of the building. Should you have any questions regarding this information, please feel free to call me.
