The following is a chronology of the precautions that where taken after the 9/11/01 W.T.0 disaster.

On 9/12/01 Elliot Zuckerman,Joe Olgiati &Tony Vetrano Walked the building to examine any damage as well as checking out the operation of the equipment.

Air plenums where check and where found in good condition and no dust was observed. Also checked were the cooling towers and the intake to the generators, which were found to be clean. Note : All fans where off when we entered the building. Ambient lab was called to take samples of the buildings air on September 14,2001 and all samples where well below the EPA standard. The samples collected where TEM analysis. Samples where also taken on September 20th, 26 October 4th, October 9th and October 12. Various floors where tested as well as the outside air.

Samples where also taken on 9/16/01 by Riverpoint Inc. Approximately 12 air samples per floor where taken (TEM) and all where below the EPA standard. These samples where taken on floors 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 and outside of the building. Riverpoint also wiped down the entire lobby second floor as well as both trading floors as a precaution.

P.A.L an environmental HAZMAT company was call in on or about 9/14/Olto clean all fresh air intakes as a precaution. Plenums as well as filter racks where cleaned as a precaution this was performed twice. All pre filters where changed on September 27-30th and all bag filters where also changed on October 9th_l2th,as part of Preventive maintenance. P.A.L also responded to clean up the diesel fuel spill on September 15th.All fuel was cleaned on the 16th floor as well as on the 15th floor were fuel had penetrated from the 16th floor. All equipment as well as the carpet, furniture and anything else that was in contact with the fuel were discarded. The ceiling was cleaned of any fuel that was absorbed by the fire proofing and ceiling tiles changed. The entire area was neutralized and a few follow up visits were performed to remove any residue

L.Z.A Technology conducted a walk through to determine if there was any structural damage to the building and was deemed safe for occupancy.
