On arrival I met Nugent Gerald, Supervisor for LVI Environmental at the LVI field office, who informed me that a total of 1 Handler Supervisor and 50 Asbestos Handlers were in the 3'“ floor today. The daily work schedule informed me of the following. 1. 3"* floor: 50 men-scrape fireproofing, clear off floor 2. 2'’" floor: 54 men- seal critical, clear off floor. Eagle-14 men erect platforms various locations 3. l” floor: 76 men-clear floor, cut ducts, demo walls, ceilings, etc. 4. Various floors : 14 men loading out boxes to ATC trailer I went to the decontamination enclosure system in the first floor at the west side After signing the log book donned personal protection and accessed the work areas, I used stair B to go to from Y'floor to 3''^ floor. V'& 2"“ floor: workers were found in the process of removing and wrapping debris; there was still a lot of wet debris on the floor, demo walls, demolition was not completed, workers were cutting metal ducts and electrical conduits into small pieces using power tools, HEPA vacuum attached with the power tools, disconnecting Mechanical Equipment (HVAC), fine spraying amended water in the work area, preparing Gaylord boxes, wrapping beams and lighting fixtures. Inspecting the critical barriers and re-sealing with duct tape, erecting scaffolds and platforms in various locations, numerous Gaylord boxes and poly wrapped beams were at various locations on each floor ready to be taken out Inspection was done on the Micro trap Machines and the Micro trap tents and on all the work area. 3'“ floor, workers were found in the process of scraping and boxing fireproofing, fine spraying amended water in the work area, preparing Gaylord boxes. Inspection was done on the Micro trap Machines and the Micro trap tents and on all the work area. I exited the work area after decontaminating and signing the log book.
