Dear Mr. Weems:
The generator load test was conducted on Saturday July 31. 1999.
Tti© following items were found to have minor problems and will be corrected as per the
following:
1
The differential pressure controller will be re-programmed on August 4,1999 This will
close the building valves and start emergency condenser water system manually as
designed.
Ri^ssel Electric, the manufacturer of the ATS switches, is aware of the problem with them.
Ttjeir engineering pe;rsonal is working on the minor glitch, and as soon as they have
r®*’ched a solution the corrective work will be done. They have said it is just a matter of
adding some relays. Once this is accomplished, we can then run the load shedding test.
In Cosentini Associates report (attached) the emergency generator were left in the
automatic position and is ready to deliver emergency power on demand, therefore the
OEM is ready for power emergency.
