SPECIFICATIO? S AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK

For the removal of existing granite fl< oring in Lobby and rcinstaUatiOT^£saine^ after work by others. ? '“I? 1. Wc will endeavor to make uniform progress dth ihc work with adequate forces in accordance with the proper progress of tlic building and upon adequate notice of the time when our work is to begin. All work to be performed within noirnal working hours. If overtime work is mutually agreed upon and performed, an additional c! arge therefor at our usual rales for such work shall be added to the contract price. Wc shall not be liable for any damages or delays resulting fre m or caused by fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or actions of the elements, slrikcs, freight embargoes, government regulations, resiriclions, accidents, acts of God or inability to obtain sufficient stone of uniform texture, color or quality due to natural causes at <|uarrics or other causes over which wc have no control. 2. All stone delivered to the site shall be examined by your representative prior to erection. 3. The use of necessary hoists and scaffolding shall be made available to us as required withovt charge. You will furnish us witliout charge, required electric power, water, and ncccs.saiy temporary heat. You will furnish our workers with a safe place in which to work and protection for tlie work. 4. No charges are to be made against the undersigned for general expenses such as scaffolding, bridges, or cleaning up of debris or rubbish, 5, Wc shall be furnished as required, with adequate and convenient space for the delivery find secure storage of material immediately in front of the location of the building where stone is to be set. 6. Insurance - to follow upon contract. 7. Our price for all of the work described hereunder is the sum of: $ 5,711.00 (FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN DOLLARS) Payments for portions of the work shall be made against monthly requisitions, and shall be made within thirty (30) days after requisition.? have been submitted for work theretofore performed. Final pi yment shall be made thirty (30) days after submission Of final requisitions. 8. 'lite price above quoted docs not include salci taxes or other government taxes either nor in effect or which hereafter may be imposed by any Stale, Federal or City government. All or sue i taxes shall be charged for and paid. 9. 'Ulis proposal shall become effective as a coi tract only when signed by you and approved in writing by an officer of this company, and when so executed shall constitute the entire c ntract between us and no rcprescnlation or agreement written or verbal not set forth above is binding upon cither of us. 10, Purchasers to comply with all rules and rcgulat ons of O.S.H.A. and to provide overhead protection.
