d. Indicate the new walls dark to match the other floors.

Response: At this point in the project it will be very time consuming to revise all the drawings. This projects where originally to be done separately.

e. Explain the use of partition type 7c at 4* Floor offices and lb at S"" floor offices.

Response: In the 4*. Floor we used FDNY standards and other floors we used DoiTT standards as directed. (Mr. J. McCormick specifically requested this.)

f. Coordinate the door schedule with construction plans, see door 14, met/gl and '/z hr fire rated. Also door 24,27 is 'A hr or I hr FPSC door.

g. Explain the use of slab to slab studs, with gypsum board above raised floor and full height insulation around storage room, lunch room, (ICO, offices 04-07, (7C) when at door the use of sill type C and ’/♦” glass panel sidelight will defeat the purpose of this expensive type of insulated partition which requires the removal of raised floor tiles.

[Response: This is done for acoustic privacy between offices, not between offices and open area.

b. Explain the use of 1 ’A hr FPSC door with partition type 7D at offices 5-2, 5-3.

I Response: The fire enclosure is around the computer room not the offices.

5. Drawing A-S-3 and E-110 Clearly indicate the new / relocated light fixtures, only.

6. Drawing No. D-1 Explain the design intent and use of 3-layered gypsum board, insulated partition type next to '/<” glass / metal regular partition at the command center.

Response: The Acoustical consultant, Cerrami & Associates set the design criteria for the partitions. In reference to the glass enclosed command center, the entire center acts as a buffer between the data Center and the adjacent office space. In addition, FDNY specifically requested the glass enclosure.
