The following are ours responses to your "DC set and spedfcation outline review comments SWANKE HAYDEN CONNELL ARCHITECTS OUTLINE SPECIFICATIONS: P-1 6” & 8" block was intended io be used in the oil storage tank area and the Commissioners secure closet P-2 The typ. Ceiling ht. Is 9'-0", / Vision panels will be used at certain doors, which will be shown at next progress issue Door at radio shed will be specified with exterior grade aluminum and will be 1 '/j HR. FPSC the same as double doors at 7**. Floor generator room Card reader access will be added to drawings when we have the secunty consultants infermation, we are under the impression that the building required a grandmaster key All private offices will have a coat hook behind the door only. John Vande Plasse will review the use of wire pulls instead of dummy trim at closets P-5 Bullet resistant walls will be indicated at the mayor's and commissioners office. The Mayor’s conference room is not bullet resistant it was not requested to be. P-e C-2 is not an alternate, it is carpet tile the same as the broadloom for the raised floor areas of the project. Freight Elevator Lobby, Mechanical Rooms and Rad® rooms will be specified to have a wateroroof paint Similar to Dex-O-Tex System. P-9 The next progress set of documents will have a finish schedule on the drawings. P-10 The Mayor's & Commissioners bathrooms will not have handicapped grab bars and fixtures but can be made accessible with out relocation of plumbing fixtures if desired at a future date. Metal toHet partitions will be removed from specifications since there will be no work In core bathrooms. Mayor's pantry will have similar appliances as main pantry but with an undercounted refrigerator and no dish washer. P-11 we will add shades Io Commissioner's and Mayor's offices for next Issue. Next issue will include note for landlord to clean and refurbish core toilets. P-12 Bath room fixture types will be revised for the next issue and urinal will be deleted. P-13 SHCA /CA will review issue of vapor proof light fixtures at the Mechanical rooms. DRAWINGS DD-1 We will specify metal shelving for water storage room . Library shelving will be specifieo as metal shelving with a powder coat finish. 4” raised floor is required at PIU room in order to provide power and data to freestanding tables. The mechanical room indicates a 6" high concrete curb tor tocatlcn of preaction equipment. We will review and revise # of stair risers as required at press room. We will review the requirement of a railing at the platforms for the press with the A/V consultant. Partitions at perimeter windows will be painted on both sides. UPS room will be removed and revisions made for next issue DD-2 Motorized projectton screens at conference rooms were requested by OEM Legends and consultants legends will be included at future issues. OD-3 All symbols and general notes will be added for future issues. We'll review additional conveniencB outlets as per your mark-up.
