The following is a summary of equipment product data outstanding as of 02-25-98 which impacts the critical path of the project schedule;

LAN Room OEM Required Information; 1 Catalog cuts for all compuitT equipment including BTLI output, 2, Bell Atlantic catalog cuts for all equipment including power requirements and BTU output. OEM/DYTT is working with Bell Atlantic to obtain this information.

Motorola Required Information; 1 Radio rack equipment lay-out. 2. Catalog cuts for all equipmeri including power requirements and BTU output.

Due to the combined use of this room involving radio, computer LAN, telephone and audio-visual equipment, SHCA and its consultants have not been able to layout the equipment for this room and make the final determination of power & HVAC requirements for this room. Please note that the OEM team has met regularly with the SHCA team and the vendors. They are putting their best efforts forward to obtain the information, however, it is not coming together in time to meet the schedule.

12? OEM Required Information: 1. Specific catalog cuts or written specifications for all departmental computer and radio equipment other than the standard OEM equipment (PC with monitor, a radio head, telephone & back-up telephone and 13” TV monitor) including equipment sizes, power. BTV output, cabling & connections and audio-visual connectivity and compatib’Iity if required. SHCA is aware of FDNY & NYPD equipment in general terms hut not specifics. OEM has not indicated any other departmental equipment needs fj e. - additional phones, radios, PCs, monitors, etc.)

Other Motorola Required Information: 1. Equipment outlet locations for the Rooftop Radio Room. 2. Equipment outlet locations for the Watch Command Equipment Room. 3 Additional structural information previously requested for the rooftop antenna.? for review by Cartor/Seinuk, 4. A detailed roof plan indicating all rooftop antennas and microwave dishes must be submitrud to Silverstein Properties, Ine. for review and approval by their outside consultant to ensure no conflict with existing antenna/microwave equipment.

If this information is not resolved and issued to the SHCA team by 03-06-98, SHCA cannot commit to the 04-06 98 issue date for Construction Document* per the published 12-12-97 project .schedule.
