2.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE

A. In order to define requirements for quality and function, product specifications designate manufacturers.

2.05 SUBMITTALS

A. Submit product data.

B. Submit short circuit and coordination smdy.

C. Submit product data, list of materials, service location.

D. Submit alternate price quotations.

2.06 EMERGENCY ELECTRIC GENERATING SETS

A. Emergency electric generating sets shall be automatic starting diesel single engine driven, shall have nominal electric characteristics of 480/277 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 60 cycles and shall each be able to supply its indicated load at power factors down to 80%. The sets shall be suitable for operation, in conjunction with the generator control switchgear as an automatically started and paralleled plant.

B. The emergency generator sets and all their associated controls and appurtenances shall be suitable for use where the load to be supplied consists of non-linear loads such as solid sute transistorized or SCR drives or UPS systems supplying computers and variable speed motor drives. Submit manufacturer's certification thereto.

C. Submit manufiicturers certification that, with supply facilities provided and ambient conditions maintained as hereinafter specified, the engine generator sets, in conjunction with the generator control switchgear, are capable of meeting the following performance criteria:-
