SUBJECT: WESTSIDE CONNECTION PROJECT, NORTH ACCESS TUNNEL FROM W. 33RD ST. TO W. 38TH STREET, BOROUGH OF MANHATTAN

This office has received "60 %" submission dra'wings for the above referenced project from Amtrak with a letter dated March 24, 1987. These drawings show a proposed siphon in W. 33rd Street. It has been the policy of this Bureau to avoid the use of siphons. Please indicate if the concept of the proposed siphon is acceptable to the Bureau.
