World Trade Center Emergency Project Environmental, Safety, and Health Plan Draft - Revision A 30 September 2001

The contractor will attend frequent coordination meeting with project representatives and all other participatory federal, state, and local agencies and authorities in order to identify problems and develop/implement resolutions in a timely manner.

Environmental Monitoring/Coordination Meetings will be held between appropriate project personnel, including the SM, the CEC, Project Superintendent, and the lead subcontractor representatives. The purpose of the meetings is to discuss current and future construction activities as they relate to observation of environmental requirements. Typically, these meetings will occur as part of the Weekly Contractor Progress Review Meetings, but may be held more frequently as construction activities warrant.

Pertinent environmental data will be quickly communicated to project ES&H representatives to ensure protectiveness of workers and the surrounding residential and business areas.

1.8 RECORDKEEPING

1.8.1 Weekly Safety Report

Each contractor will submit a weekly Safety Report to the DDC/ES&H director with the following safety data: • Name Contractor and any Subcontractors covered by the report • Total jobhours worked during the week covered by the report for all employees • Total number of OSHA Recordable Cases • Number of Recordable Injuries • Number of Recordable Illnesses • Number of Lost-time Cases • Number of Restricted Work Cases • Number of Incidents as defined in Section 1.6.1 • Copy of the site first aid log if there are new entries for the week • Weekly Sampling Reports if applicable

1.8.2 Medical Qualification and Training Records

Maintenance of employee medical and training records is the responsibility of each contractor.

1.8.3 Exposure Records

Each contractor is required to maintain employee exposure records in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.20. Personal monitoring results, related laboratory reports and calculations, and sampling data sheets may be considered part of an employee exposure record. Copies of any site work- related exposure record generated will be kept at the site by the contractor.
