Hi Sara,
Can you please call me when you have a moment to discuss this case. The councilman's office stated that DEP is not providing the information that the Comptroller's Office requested for the following claim.
Thank you, Effie

Effie,
See the attached letter that I sent you back in December. Please ask someone from DEP to forward whatever info the Comptroller's office needs to settle this claim. As you observed at the meeting last night people are angry and I don't blame them.
Andrew

Effie,
I have a constituent, Kristen Hart, who filed a claim with the Comptroller's office regarding a sinkhole and damage done to her water/sewer line which she had to repair. She believes DEP should be responsible for fixing it and that the sinkhole was caused by the reconstruction of a retaining wall on Cannon Place adjacent to her property. When I contacted the Comptroller's office to see what the status was they said it was pending an agency report from DEP. See the attached letter. A new sinkhole has now appeared again which she is again disputing she has to repair. Could you look into this investigation to see if it could be expedited so the Comptroller's office can settle the claim and we can finally determine who is responsible. Thanks.
