DEP determined that conditions at the time of entry were satistactory for use of respirators, Supplied air was carried os an emergency backup in the event of encountering unforseen conditions.

The childrens sand box at Washington Market Park on Chambers and Greenwich was cleaned out on 9/30. Reports of private residents taking samples and finding asbestos in the sand were alleged.
