South Battery Park areas are still in the cleanup stage. These areas include various streets and sidewalks, parking lots, ball fields and the promenade. /

Such a move will open Battery Park City South to recontamination with asbestos containing debris. OEM will be advised of the 10/2 memo issued from their office now identifying the EPA as the lead agency on these issues.
