In general, we concur with the comments provided by NYS DOH that Dr. Nancy Kim forwarded to you on Sept. 27. Please refer to my comments on the previous draft monitoring plan, and in addition we have the following comments on the plan dated September 2S:
I) It appears that the Air Monitoring Site Zones are divided by type of monitoring. rather than by geographical locations. For example, the L and M sites listed under the "Work Zone", should actually be listed under the "Near Zone". 2) In the current plan, it is not clear which of the sample locations will be rooftop versus street level samples. We would like to see additional street level locations included in the plan. 3) In the key to the example table, please note that the 0.01 flee asbestos re-entry standard is not the NYCDOH standard, but is a standard used by NYCDEP. 4) In the previous draft of the monitorin~ plan, there was a site G located at Church and Duane Streets. We would prefer to see a site added at W. Broadway and Duane Streets.
