On Monday, the engineering firm, the contractor and DEP will meet to discuss repair options; that entails modifying the original repair contract proposed and moving ahead with the reconstruction of the I /"ja Z u bridge which will mean a longer shutdown; or making immediate repairs to tr _ y'Vft'— fix the problem of the bridge support shifts and opening up the roadway in I 1 . @ two weeks , deferring til later the longer term fix in a staggerred /1 ~ y—Q closure scenario. A better time frame will be decided on Monday. 1 ~~ 3)1 have put in a call to the Chief of Staffs office on the third item.

2) You mentioned that you were expecting some analysis back on the Croton Bridge today. Joe wants a short memo on some general perimeters - what does the analysis show, what are the next steps, what is a general time-frame? I understand that you cannot give a definite date as to when the bridge will be up and running, but some generic ideas are needed. Please put something together for today. 3) FYI - You may want to re-think holding up Ed Careya paperwork, as that direction did come from Vinny - food for thought!
