5/2002,-,final, reports: on findings, followed by decisions on how to proceed with repairs based on review of final reports.
Already underway for completion in 2001 evaluation of options to maximize other existing sources of water— possibilities include, upgrade,of Jamaica wells to, 100 mgd; installation of pumps at Croton Falls & Cross River for up to 225 mgd; with Croton filter plant in place, an increase from 240.mgd to 290,mgd;.possibie.use of Brooklyn-Queens aquifer.
Implementation of these plaps.by 07/03,
Contractor also preparing specifications for materials, equipment & repair contract as contingency in case of tunnel failure — materials on hand by 03/03.
