AM at the In preparation for our meeting on Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at 11:00 would be Real Estate Board of New York, 570 Lexington Avenue, 2 Floor, I thought it Battery helpful to outline the issues that we believe need to be addressed regarding Park City and its efforts to get back to normalcy. within Joining me at the meeting will be the principles from the following ownerships Battery Park City: The Brodsky Organization, The LeFrak Organization, Related, Rockrose, Milstein Properties, Glenwood Management, The DeMattis Organization, and American Property Financing.

First on behalf of all of these organizations and the entire Real Estate industry, let me say thank you for all that you have done and continue to do on behalf of our City. State and Nation.

We know that all of us desire the same objective, to do everything possible to bring back the residents and jobs to Battery Park City as soon as possible. We also agree that together we must take steps to change the perceptions and to bring back the services that have always made Battery Park City one of the most attractive neighborhoods in New York.

The following are some of the concerns we would like to discuss:

1) Bus Shuttle Services. Owners are prepared to provide mini buses to shuttle residents from train approval stations and retail areas to their buildings in Battery Park City. We need to let such buses operate.

2) Open up Chamber Street Subway Stations. the We would hope that Murray Street could become the new boundary for restricted area and as a result, the two Chamber Street Stations could be opened. This would be one of the bus routes mentioned above.
