8.11 All contaminated materials be stored in a securely locked dumpster or storage

8.13 The Contractor shall provide a secured storage area for the storage of packaged
contaminated waste prior to the transport to the waste site. The storage area shall be
equipped with lockable doors
8.14 All waste shall be disposed of at an approved landfill as construction debris.
9.0 WORK AREA CLEARANCE
9.1 The abatement work area is cleared when the work area is visually clean and clearance
air testing for ACM indicates that airborne asbestos fiber concentrations are below 70
s/mm2.
9.2 In the event that release criteria is not met, all costs associated with re-testing and re-
cleaning shall be borne by the Contractor.
9.4 Clearance Air Monitoring and Analysis by TEM
a. Acceptance Criteria: Decontamination of the work meets the requirements of
site
this test when every work area sample indicates an airborne concentration of
fibers of less than 70 structures per
