BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK Harold O. Levy, Chancellor Office of the Chancellor 110 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201

Reference No. 2002-158

June 4, 2002

Mr. Richard Bing Vice President for Budget and Resource Planning New York University 70 Washington Square South New York, N.Y. 10012

Re: 90 and 100 Trinity Place New York, N.Y. Recent FEMA Inquiries

Dear Mr. Bing:

With reference to the above properties, below are answers to the inquiries set forth in recent correspondence from you:

Inquiries of the e-mail of 5/21/02 1) Provide additional detail information on the two AWL invoices which were submitted with the Board of Education's May 8^^ letter; one for $111,553.23 and the other for $95,929.86

This was sent to you on May 23, 2002 (for duplicate, see Attachment "A").

2? Provide Board of Education custodian timesheets for the work performed in connection with these two buildings

See Attachment "B"

3) Provide Board of Education custodian labor costs, broken out by base salary and fringe

See Attachment "C." Please note that, due to an oversight, the amount previously given was incorrect. The current figure is correct.

4) For work orders #93067-01 ($1,919: locks), #93200-04 ($4,619: doors/floor), and #90363-01($7,000: plumbing repairs), provide labor costs broken out by base salary and fringe

See Attachment "D." Please note that, as indicated for work order #090363-01, this work "was charged to [PS/IS 89 in Manhattan, another downtown school] even though some of the work was done in other various locations during the Emergency Response. Estimated cost [$7,000] of plumbing work performed [for 90/100 Trinity] is from the Supervisor that was on the location ..." In all, out of over $100,000 in documented plumbing-associated costs incurred under this work order, we are estimating only $7,000 for 90 and 100 Trinity combined.

5) Provide TDX invoices
