Dear Mr. Orlan:

At your request, ATC Associates, Inc. representative Mr. Alex Kholodenko (NYC-DEP Asbestos Investigator # 86823 and NYS-DOL Asbestos Inspector Certificate #AH 97-09809) visited the High School for Leadership and Public Service located at 90 Trinity Place, New York, New York 10006 on March 6, 2002, The purpose of the site visit was to perform a dust sampling to be analyzed for asbestos content in the areas indicated by the Board of Education,

As per your request, a total of ten (10) dust samples, using 3M scotch tape and a glass slide, were collected in the following locations:

Gymnasium HVAC diffusers => Five (5) samples Auditorium window sill => One (1) sample Auditorium HVAC diffusers => Four (4) samples

All ten (10) collected dust samples were analyzed utilizing Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM). See attached laboratory report.

Analytical results indicated that none of the ten (10) collected settled dust bulk samples contain asbestos fibers.

The settled dust bulk sampling performed was limited to testing for asbestos in the locations indicated by your office.
