HM544 DOOR SYSTEM - CLAMP-ON FRAME DOOR INSTALLATION

1. Remove door unit from crate and place on two saw horses, door stop side up. Sawhorses should approximately 3O'j~ong for a standard 36" door opening. Open frame to approximate 105 degree Remove the screws attaching the hinge to the frame. You do not have to remove screws from th door.

2. Check opening making sure it is approximately inch wider and inch taller than the zee anchors welded to the frame. Adjust the opening if necessary,

3. Remove door side of the frame by removing 10 flat head machine screws. Pull unit apart ending with 2 half frame sections.

4. Place the push side section of the jamb into the opening and shim between the anchor and stud Secure the frame to the wall studs or wall condition. Be sure not to pull the jamb into a rack or pi the sides out, because you must receive the door side of the jamb to complete the frame installation.

5. Plumb the hinge jamb both in and out, back and forth. The jam must be plumb for the door to sv properly.

6. Set the door side of the frame in the opening. Secure the two sections together with the flat hea screws you removed.

7. Hang the door and hinge to the frame.

8. Install the closer to the factory drilled location. Refer to the closer instructions for adjustment ner

9. If you are experiencing difficulty with the door closing equally around the frame, drill new attachments of the flat head machine screws and rack the frame to suit your condition. This als applies to a wall thicker than the frame was ordered for.

10. If a threshold is present, it needs to be custom fitted. Cut to the length and notch for your desire installation. Before installing the threshold, remove the temporary spreader welded to the frame Drill two 1/4" holes in the threshold to accept the anchors.

11. If electric hardware is present attach the power source to the terminal block as per wiring diagra located on the transom access panel. The access panel is a formed piece of channel attached t the header door stop. The diagram only identifies which wires are attached to which terminal, P.: to the manufacturers schematics for proper wiring connections or paths.
